The problem is formulated within the context of the dynamics of a square lattice. Accordingly, the interface region comprises particles with a different mass to the particles in the bulk and with different elastic bonds. For this model, we demonstrate the possibility of two types of wave being localised in the vicinity of the interface. The corresponding dispersion relations are obtained. The results are compared with the Gurtin-Murdoch theory of surface elasticity.</p>
Результаты сравниваются с теорией поверхностной упругости Гуртина–Мурдоха.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>anti-plane waves</kwd><kwd>lattice dynamics</kwd><kwd>interface</kwd><kwd>localised waves</kwd><kwd>dispersion relations</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>антиплоские волны</kwd><kwd>динамика решетки</kwd><kwd>интерфейс</kwd><kwd>локализованные волны</kwd><kwd>дисперсионные соотношения</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="en">Работа выполнена при поддержке фонда РНФ 22-19-00732 (Продление).</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнена при поддержке фонда РНФ 22-19-00732 (Продление).</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Gurtin M.E., Murdoch A.I.
