Resumo
The article observes the debates in the contacts of Moscow and Hetmanate of the question, if it is necessary to defense the city of Czigirin or to give up to the Osmans. The differences in the views were reasoned not by the differences of principal positions, but by the concrete defects in organization of the Czigirin defense.
