Different points of view on the effect of regular physical exertion on the level of arterial pressure are considered. In addition, the available diagnostic approaches to the detection of high blood pressure are described. Based on the available data, domestic and foreign experience, oftimal algorithms for diagnosing arterial hypertension in young people involved in sports are presented.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье представлен краткий обзор литературных данных, касающихся распространенности и причин артериальной гипертензии у спортсменов. Рассмотрены разные точки зрения на влияние регулярных физических нагрузок на уровень артериального давления. Кроме того, описаны имеющиеся диагностические подходы к выявлению повышенного артериального давления.
